Exclamation More Diversity in Class Specific Runes

"Warrior has absorbtion runes to himself, even though Assassin has to go into Melee combat to with less armor. I think a few more classes should have exclusive runes to help them compensate for serious neccessities which they should have. Elementist Exhaustion reducing runes, Some sort of Assassin only rune, either giving them some static evasion, or perhaps added damage. A monk rune of added energy regeneration might be good, they do have high energy requirement and have many maintenance skills."--BahamutKaiser

"Why should only one class get an extra "special" rune all to themselves? I mean if you are going to give one class its own special rune, then why not do the same for everyone? I'm not asking for something that completely unbalances everything, but I can't imagine why something simple that would complement the classes core job, would cause a big issue. Something like this would require some thought in order to keep a balance, and as such I'm reluctant to start naming off ideas, as mine are not balanced, lol."--Lurid

Ele - Exaushtion reducing runes
War - Absorption Runes (already implimented)
Necro - Saccur Reducing (eg. if spell says saccrafice 25% a super rune might reduce it to 12-15%)
Assassin- Shadow step increasing runes, or Static evasion runes(reduce the chance that they get hit)

Thes are all just ideas that Have been gathered. I really do think that as earlier stated we need more diversity in no drawback runes that are class specific and "compliment classes' core job." Such as Absorbtion for Wars.

Submitted for your discression. Again Further ideas or criticism welcome.

Well I won't start shouting overpowered myself, I presume someone would, but here's an idea:

Monk - Rune of Maintained Enchantments, 1...3 of the monk's maintained enchantments are 'free' (do not give energy degen).

Prolly still overpowered, but blee. Ideaz!

I like the idea of adding additional "special" runes to each class, obviously lol. Though as previously stated i'm not sure how one would implement some of these runes without causing fear of over powering one or more classes.

Yeah, but as in that other thread, some otehr people already feel that way about warriors having a no drawback rune like Absorbtion. So why not equal the playing field? And give each class a rune that contributes to their specific abilites.

Well, we say Warrior runes have no drawbacks, and rightly so they do not. The question you must then ask is, how much do we give each class so that they are equal? A saccur rune, as previously mentioned would effectively "unnerf" skills like OoB. So you have to take all of that into consideration aswell.
